HERRMIDIFIER INTRODUCES HERRTRONIC MD SERIES
OF SELF-CONTAINED ELECTRODE BOILERS

Sanford, NC, August, 2004 -- Herrmidifier, a division of Fedders Engineered Products, has developed the Herrtronic MD Series of self-contained electrode boilers. The Herrtronic MD Series is the ideal choice for steam humidification systems in computer rooms, telecommunication switchgear facilities and laboratory cleanrooms. The MD Series has capacities ranging from 5 to 250 lb./hr., and up to 600 VAC. All MD Series units are ETL and CSA approved.

“The beauty of the Herrtronic MD Series is its flexibility,” said Rob Clemens, Director, Herrmidifier Sales. “Control inputs can be on/off, proportional or P + I sensors to handle any scenario of VAV or outside air. In addition, the availability of Herricane CS rapid absorption manifolds allow the system to be used in applications having minimal absorption distance.”

The Herrtronic MD features an LCD display, user-friendly programming on an RS-485 communications network, system diagnostics. For larger applications, the units can be networked with up to 29 other units.

The Herrtronic MD is sufficiently versatile to operate with softened water, is complemented with a full line of accessories and comes with a two-year warranty that is applicable to all parts except the replaceable cylinders.
